Update February 2019 - stop asking me to draw strange images that turn out to be adult content. If you want adult art, find someone else who is able to draw it
I know when something is "off" because one person requests a random image and suddenly 10 other people ask for the same. These drawings receive lots of +favs in only a few hours from members with names that reveal their interests. Visiting the member pages of everyone involved (including the person who requested the drawing) proves exactly why these people are here! :puke:

My neighbours recently showed my deviantART page to one of their buddies "Oh yes Razzles does Transformers drawings, but can also draw monsters and spaceships" and that's not what appeared on the screen! :faint:

I've been told to delete my deviantART account but that's not fair on the innocent members who use this site in an honest way. Yes I know it says "deviant" in the site name but it means "out of the ordinary" not "collect as much bizarre adult drawings of cartoon characters as possible"

It's getting close to the point of having to go inactive. I can't stomach all this adult content and I'm fed up of going round in circles over the same bullshit excuses being used to fool me into drawing it

----(text below is the original Journal from February 2017)----

This Journal originally contained only rules about pr0n, it has now been updated to include more detailed rules about what types of requests I will and won't do

For the last few months I've had a few members (possibly one member with multiple accounts) pushing and pestering for requests I can't draw, or changing their minds after I've spent hours on their request. Unfortunately I've lost so much time and effort going round in circles with this member / those members that enough is enough

deviantART is meant to be fun but the last few months have really taken the fun out of it.
I'm here to draw silly doodles of Optimus Prime punching Starscream in the face, not endlessly re-explain to the same person why I won't draw graphic images of them doing things that would make Alpha Trion cry

:bulletblue: Yes, it is your choice to view and draw pr0n. It is also my choice to stay far away from it :bulletblue:

If I say no to drawing a purple dragon with a five foot long third leg, it means no. Don't keep re-asking me "Oh but you can fold his wings in front of it" and then the next day "How about with his back to the viewer, with a cheeky grin and a shadow in the ground" followed by "But it's not rude you can't see anything! Please draw my dragon, I won't tell anyone you drew him" :stare:

I'm not sat on my laptop all day every day, some days I can't get online at all. I can't keep losing time re-replying to the same messages and re-starting requests. If I say yes, it means yes. If I say no, it means no :police:

Depending on what you would like me to draw it can take hours to finish and 3D models take weeks to build before I even think about adding the fancy paintjobs and converting them to Poser format.
I want to spend my entire life sharing silly doodles and awesome 3D models but I have to get off the laptop and do real-life activities

========= IMAGES AND 3D MODELS I WILL NOT MAKE =================

:bulletred: Absolutely no pr0n. It doesn't matter if you want me to draw a human, a monster, an alien, your OC character, or any other type of graphic images
There are many other websites full of people who will happily and willingly draw pr0n. This site does not allow graphic images, and I won't draw them anyway. If you ask for pr0n you will get one "no" answer with a link to this Journal - don't ask again!
- Holding hands is fine but no more, this is enough to show the meaning of the drawing
- Multiple characters in a romantic clean drawing is fine, for example in a fancy restaurant or on a beach
- If you wouldn't behave like that in front of your granny don't ask me to draw it!

:bulletorange: No OC characters. These are fan made characters designed by fans to fit into an official franchise
I did originally draw and build these, but they caused terrible arguing and some owners of the OC characters were being horribly bullied. I eventually realised the only way to stop all the nasty arguing was to stop bringing them into existence
- Yes I will draw or build official characters as a clean "hologram" or "furry" or "anthro" version
- No I will not draw or build fan made characters in any way

:bulletred: No guns, drugs, excessive violence
deviantART is an American website but I'm English. The first two are banned outright in the UK, and there's no need for anyone to draw the third
- One single exception to the rule is characters who have a weapon as part of their body, for example PACIFIC RIM robots with missiles in their chests or Transformers with swords that pop out of the robot shape

:bulletorange: This rule is bizarre but I won't draw requests that you already have many identical copies of. If my drawing will be a "photocopy" an image you already have 25 times then I will refuse to make the 26th copy
- If you love Spider-Man and your Gallery has lots of varied drawings of him, this is fine
- If you love Spider-Man but your Gallery shows him drawn over and over and over again in the exact same pose, in the same unifrom, fighting the same bad guys I won't draw another copy
- This has happened with 2 members but when I've asked what's going on both members politely refused to answer

========= IMAGES AND 3D MODELS I CAN MAKE =================

:bulletgreen: Yes, I will draw clean "furry" and "anthro" and "therian" style art
This is a way of drawing animals to look human. So for example I can draw a Biker Mouse from Mars or a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle because these are clean. Remember - no rude parts, no pr0n
- If a character is male, I will go down to his underpants
- If a character is female, I will go down to her bikini
- If a character is an alien / not human / monster I will cover up any rude parts

:bulletyellow: Yes, I will draw clean nudity - don't abuse this rule
Characters like Aliens and Pokemon are meant to be nude (no clothes) because they don't have rude parts. Adding clothes / coverings would destroy the character's design
- No I won't add rude parts
- No I won't draw them in an obviously adult pose with the excuse "But it's not rude you can't see anything!"
- Don't argue with this rule. You know exactly what the official character design is, I know what the official character design is

:bulletgreen: Yes I will draw or build different versions of official characters
Some franchises like Avengers and Batman have different versions of the same character, or there are official-but-unreleased toys of characters
- I will draw or build official characters as a clean "hologram" or "furry" or "anthro" version
- I love drawing crossovers like STARGATE SG-1 joining forces with Ghostbusters
- Yes you can have different versions of the same characer, like 3 different HULKS fighting each other
- I can add a character into another version of their franchise. For example a Transformer called Tarn only exists in the comics but I can add him into the live action movie series
- Even if the character pops up once in the background on page 12 of a Mattel toy catalogue that was only available for 1 day at a convention, that still counts as official

----(text below is the original Journal from 21st January 2014)----

I'm sorry to have to say this, but I've just had a heart attack after opening an email...

For the last time, I don't do adult content.
I don't read it, I don't watch it, I don't want it.
I will never draw an explicit picture, I will never build a rude robot.
Not for points, not for my name on the front cover, not even for cold hard cash.

I'm not going to do it. I've never gone anywhere near that side of the Internet and I'm not going to start

Yes I know there are entire communities dedicated to rude Transformers drawings, yes I know there are people who like "furry" characters, and thanks to Rule 34 there's literally countless thousands of adult drawings of everything you can possibly imagine.

But I don't participate in them. I don't want it near me, I'm not a member of these communities, and to be honest images like the one I just saw make me feel literally, physically, sick. I've just had to kneel down outside in the cold air from what appeared on my screen :puke::noes:

Transformers are children's characters. Fluffy multicoloured animals are not meant to have... forgive me... massive er*ct human shaped pen*ses!!

:bulletred::bulletpink: I do not draw explicit content, I will not modify 3D models to be rude, and there's no way in Hell I'm going to start drawing X rated Transformers drawings. Don't even send me X rated links for a joke, you have no idea how close I just came to being sick in the courtyard outside :bulletpink::bulletred:
